Bottle guord peel recipe

How to make delicious dish with bottle guord peel (lauki ke chilke)

                                                 we usually make only bottle guord(lauki) and  throughaway 
their peel(chilke) because we think its a waste material but toady i tell you how to prepare a delicious dish with this waste peel.


prep. time-10 mins.
cook time-15 min
serves-4

Ingredients.

1. thick guord peel(lauki ke chilke)- 2 cups
      (cut into small pieces)
2. medium sized  potatoes cut into thin small pieces-2

3. onions finely chopped -2

4. garlic cloves finely chopped-5

6. turmeric powder-1/2 tablespoon

7. red chilli powder-1/2 tablespoon or as your taste
    ( or you may also use 1 tablespoon green chilli paste )

8. coriander powder -1/2 tablespoon

9. garam masala-1/4 tablespoon

10. cumin seeds-1/4 tablespoon

11. salt to taste(tata salt)

12. oil(mustard/olive)-2 big tablespoon

13. coriander leaves to garnish
                                           Note-( you use spices of MDH)


Directions.

1. heat the pan n add oil in it

2. add cumin seeds n add choppoed onoins n saute

3. add chopped garlic n saute till the onion become golden brown

4. add turmeric powder n saute for 30 sec.

5. Now add all spices (coriander,chilli,garam masala,salt) n saute

6. Now add guord peel (chilke) in it n mix well n cook for 2 mins.

7. Now add  potatoes n mix well n saute for 1 min

8. Now cover the pan with a lid n it cooks in their own steam(cook for 5 mins. on a low flame)

9. when it cooked  switch of the flame 

10. garnish with coriander leaves.
                                     
                                         Your delicious dish made with your waste peel is ready to eat n you may serve this dish with parathas or with dal chawal.........
