suji(semolina) upma recipe
How to make instant delicious suji(semolina) snack
you make this snack easily whenever uninformed guest comes in your home.Its taste really awesome...you must try it..
prep.time - 10 mins.
cook time - 15 mins.
serves - 4
Ingredients.
1. suji(semolina) - 2 tea cup
2. finely chopped onions - 2
3. finely chopped tomatoes - 2
4. potatoes ( cut into very thin small pieces - 2 small sized
5. curry leaves - 1 stem
6. roasted peanuts - 1/2 tea cup
7. finely chopped green chillies - 2
8. mustard seeds(rai) - 1 tablespoon
9. red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
10. coriander powder - 1/2 tablespoon
11. salt - 1 tablespoon or as per taste
12. oil ( mustard/ olive ) - 2 big tablespoon
(note - you may use spices of MDH/EVEREST)
Directions.
1. Heat the pan and add semolina(suji) in the pan and roast till light brown and keep aside
2. Now add oil in it
3. Now add mustard seeds,curry leaves and chopped onion n saute iy till golden brown
4. Now add green chilli nd chopped tomatoes nd potatoes n saute for 2 mins.
5. Now add red chilli and coriander and salt nd saute till tomatoes become soft
and potatoes cooked
6. Now add roasted semolina(suji) nd mix it well n saute for 2 mins.
7. Now cook till water evaporates nd suji cooked well.
8. Now switch off the flame nd garnish semolina(suji) upma with coriander leaves.
your dish is ready to serve on plate with tomato ketchup nd chilli sauce......
