special recipe of lotus stem(kamalkakdi)

Make a delicious dish of lotus stem with step by step

                 lotus stem rich in vitamins and fibres,it is very good for health as it regulates blood pressure we can make variety of dishes with lotus stem in that i tell you one special dish..

serves - 5


Ingredients.

1. lotus stem (kamal kakdi) - 2
      (boiled and sliced in circular pieces)


2. ginger garlic and green chilli paste - 1       tablespoon

3. onion paste - of 3 onions

4. turmeric powder - 1/2 tablespoon

5. red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon

6. coriander and garam masala - 1                 tablespoon

7. cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon

8. oil - 3 big tablespoon

9. chopped coriander leaves for garnish


Directions.

1. Heat the pan and add oil in it

2. Add cumin seeds and allow to crackle

3. add onion and ginger garlic paste and saute until golden brown


4. add turmeric powder and 2 tablespoon water and cook for 30 secs

5. add red chilli,coriander and garam masala and salt and saute for 1 min

6. now add boiled lotus stem and mix it well

7. now add 1 and 1/2 glass water and cook for 15 mins. on medium flame


8. now garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti and chawal
