carrot recipe
how to make delicious carrot n green peas(gajar matar )recipe without onion n garlic
prep.time-10 mins
cook time-15 mins.
serves-4
Ingedients.
1. fresh carrots -4
(chopped in pieces)
2. grean peas -1 tea cup
3. turmeric powder-1/2 tablespoon
4. red chilli poiwder-1/2 tablespoon or as ur taste
5. garam masala-1/4 tablespoon
6. coriander powder-1 tablespoon
7. amchur powder-1 tablespoon or half lemon
8. fennel(saunf) powder- 1 tablespoon
9. salt to taste
10. oil( mustard/olive)
11. cumin seeds- 1/3 tablespoon
12. corainder leaves
Note-(you may use spices of MDH)
Directions
1. heat the pan n add oil for deep frying the carrots
2 fry carrots for 2 mins.
3. leave only 2 big tablespoon oil in the pan n remove extra oil
4. now add cumin seeds n turmeric powder
5. after 30 sec. add red chilli powder,coriander powder n saute for 30 secs.
6. Now add grean peas n cook it for 2 mins.
7. Now add fried carrots n saute n sprinkle garam masala
8. Now add fennel powder n amchur powder n saute for 1min.
9. cover the pan with a lid and the cook for for 3-4 mins in their own steam
10. Now see that it cooked then switch off the flame.
11. garnish with coriander leaves.
serve this delicious n healty dish with parathas/poori.......
