Shahi Aloo dum recipe
How to make restaurant style shahi dum aloo easily at home
potatoes(aloo) you may also called the king of vegetables,so many dishes made with potatoes so today i tell you a delicious n spicy dish of potato.
prep.time-15 mins
cook time- 20 mins
serves-4
Ingredients.
1. baby potatoes -10
(2 mins. deep fried n pricked with fork)
2. paste of 4 medium sized onion and 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
3. thick curd -3/4 tablespoon
4. bay leaf -2
5. cinnamon stich - 1 inch
6. whole red chilli-2
7. turmeric powder -3/4 tablespoon
8. red chilli powder -1/2 tablespoon /as per taste
9. coriander powder -1 tablespoon
10. garam masala -3/4 tablespoon
11. cumin seeds -1/2 tablespoon
12. oil (mustard/olive) - 4 big tablespoon
13. coriander leaves
14. AMUL fresh cream -1/2 tea cup
(Note- you may use spices of MDH)
Directions.
1.heat the pan and add oil in it
2. Add cumin seeds,n whole spices(bay leaf ,cinnamon stick, red chilli)
3. Now add onion and ginger garlic paste n saute till oil seperates from it
4. Now add all dry spices except salt n saute for 2 mins.
5. Now add thick curd n cook for 2 mins or till oil seperates
6. Add salt now as per taste
7. Now add fried baby potaoes n mix it well
8. Now add 3 tea cup water to make a thick gravy n boil for 5 mins. on low flame
9. Cook the gravy till potatoes r well cooked n add add amul fresh cream n mix it well
10. Now switch of the flame n garnish the dish with coriander leaves.
