masala Turai (ridge guord) recipe

How to make delicious n spicy turai recipe



prep. time - 10 mins.
cook time -10 mins.
serves -4


Ingredients.

1.turai(ridge guord) -500 gm

2. paste of 4 onions medium sized

3. garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

4. turmeric powder -1/2 tablespoon

5. cumin seeds 

6. red chilli powder -  1/2 tablespoon

7. coriander powder -1 tablespoon

8. garam masala -1/2 tablespoon

9. coriander leaves for garnish

10. oil ( mustard/ olive) -3 big tablespoon


Directions.

1.Heat the iron pan n add oil in it

2. Add cumin seeds,onion and ginger garlic paste n saute till oil seperates or till the raw fragnance goes

3. Add all dry spices n mix it well n saute for 1 min.

4. Add turai cut into small pieces and mix it well with the spices n saute for 3 mins.

5.cover the pan with a lid and cook till turai softens on a low flame

6. There is no need of water to add,because turai(ridge guord) have enough water to cook itself 

7. Now see if it softens the mash with ladle n swith off the flame

8. garnish with coriander leaves.

                          Serve this spicy turai( ridge guord) dish with parathas n dahi....
