vegetable rice

How to make yummy vegetables rice 
                       make this yummy veggies rice ( tahri) in a few minutes n enjoy it.....


prep. time - 10 mins.
cook time - 15 mins.
serves - 4


Ingredients.

1. Rice - 3 tea cups
     ( India gate basmati rice )

2. finely chopped onions - 2

3. finely chopped tomatoes - 2

4. garlic cloves - 5 lightly mashed

5. cauliflower - 1/2

6. small brinjals - 3 
    ( cut into small pieces)

7. carrots - 2
   ( cut into small pieces)

8. potatoes - 2 medium sized
     ( cut into small pieces)

9. soya chunks( of nutrela) - 1 tea cup

10. turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon

11. red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon

12. coriander powder - 3/4 tablespoon

13. garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon

14. salt to taste

15. oil ( mustard / olive)- 3 big tablespoon

16. coriander leaves

17. cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
                                      (note- you may use spices of MDH)


Directions.

1. Heat the pressure cooker n add oil in it

2. Add cumin seeds n mashed garlic n saute

3. Now add chopped onion n saute till golden brown

4. Now add chopped tomatoes n saute for 2 mins.

5. Now add all spices( turmeric,red chilli,coriander,garam masala,salt) n cook till oil seperates from it

6. Now add veggeies (potatoes,cauliflower,brinjal,carrots) and also soya chunks n saute for 2 mins.

7. Now add rice n saute gor 1 min

8. Now add 5 tea cup water n cover the lid

9. cook till one whistle on medium flame

10. when it cooked then switch off the flame

11. garnish with coriander leaves.
                
                              your vegetable rice is ready to serve with onion salad n dahi tadkaπŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰
