How to make delicious restaurant style dal
at home


prep.time - 10 mins
cook time - 20 mins.
serves - 5


Ingredients.

1. whole red lentils - 2 tea cup
     ( masoor dal soaked for 3 to 4 hours)

2. finely chopped onion - 2

3. finely chopped tomatoes - 2

4. whole red chilli - 2

5. turmeric powder - 1/2 tablespoon

6. red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon or as per taste

7. coriander powder - 1 tabalespoon

8. garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon

9. cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon

10. coriander leaves

11. oil ( mustard / olive ) - 3 big tablespoon

12. curry leaves

13. salt as per taste



Directions.

1. Heat the pressur cooker n add oil in it.

2. Add cumin seeds,whole red chilli,curry leaves and chopped onion n saute it till onion become golden brown.

3. Add chopped tomatoes n saute for 1 min.

4. Now add spices( turmeric,red chilli,coriander powder) n mix it well n cook till tomatoes become soft n oil seprates from it.

5. Now add whole red lentils n mix it well n saute for 2 mins.

6. Now add salt and garam masala n mix it well

7. Now add 6 to 7 tea cup water nd cover the cooker wit lid

8. cook till 3 whistles come on medium flame

9. when it cooked then switch off the flame

10. Garnish with coriander leaves.

                     your whole red lentils dal tadka is ready to serve with roti,chawal nd salad.......
