Ingredients.
1. water chestnuts(singhara) - 500 gm
2. onion paste - of 3 onions
3. garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
4. turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon
5. red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
6. coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
7. garam masala - 1/2 tablespoon
8. salt - 1 and 1/2 tablespoon or to taste
9. cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
10. coriander leaves for garnish
11. oil - 3 big tablespoon
Directions.
1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds and allow to crackle
2. Now add onion and garlic paste and cook until it become golden brown or oil seperates
3. Now add spices mix with water n saute for 2 mins
4. Now add crushed chestnuts(singhara) nd mix it well and saute for 3 mins.
5. Now add salt n mix it well
6. Now add water nd cook it until chestnuts become well cooked or for 15 mins.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves
